One of the most famous and hugely watched TV drama series is The Walking Dead. The show premiered on AMC on 31^st October 2010, and has a total of 5 seasons till date.

It is a hugely popular drama with high viewership ratings, but hardly anyone recognizes the characters. Moreover, the show failed to grab any substantial award this year too, despite its immense popularity among viewers.

Let us talk about some of the reasons behind this anomaly, what the actors say about it and how does it impact the show.

Why aren’t the actors famous?

While actors from other popular shows like Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad have managed to grab meaty roles on the big screen, nobody knows about Rick Grimes, the lead character in The Walking Dead.

We think it is due to a bad marketing strategy! The stars hardly appear on any talk show either. While we see many stars on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, we have yet to see stars from The Walking Dead make an appearance. The producers state that it takes time to establish a brand, while this is quite true. The Walking Dead was the most tweeted show in 2014, so the brand has been established, it just needs to be taken to new heights with a few new campaigns.

 

Why is there no buzz of awards?

If you look at the ratings of the show, you will find that the ratings are soaring evermore. It is the number one show for adults between the ages of 18-49. However, there is no buzz of awards!!

We think that the reason why the Golden Globes or Emmys don’t put it in the same category as the other famous shows like House of Cards and Game of Thrones is that it is somehow over exaggerated.

You will see that some scenes are a drag and maybe there is too much violence involved.

 

Rick Grimes-The star of the Show!

It will be truly justified to say that Rick Grimes is the star of the show! Andrew Lincoln gives one of his best performances in the show, captivating the audiences and taking them with him along the journey. However, stated above, it was truly shocking to see that this amazing actor was not nominated for the best actor award. Maybe it was his bad luck that the category already had superstars like Kevin Spacey, Peter Dinklage, and Matthew McConaughey etc.

 

Whether famous or not, the fans still love the show for its cast, plot and incredible story. Who cares if it is famous or not when the entertainment quotient is extremely high? So, keep on enjoying, guys!

Robert Downey Junior will resume his role as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, the co-leader of the Avengers team, so will Chris Evans as Captain America/ Co-leader of the Avengers team/ Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff.

 

A new character on the horizon, maybe?

So, rumor has it that Captain America has assembled a new Avengers team with some old and new faces. Although, previously it was made quite clear that no new character will be introduced, but the rumors are quite contrary, suggesting that a new character along with Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk Thor and Black Widow might be seen in this new version.

It is quite confirmed that Black Panther is not the newcomer, despite the fact Ultorn travels Wakanda. But, the good news is you can hope that your favorite Marvel character might just appear in the movie. Keep your fingers crossed, folks!

 

New outfits:

You will also see some new and improved costumes in the Avengers: Age of Ultron. Based on the new costume pictures released thus far of Captain America, we can bet that all the costumes will have a distinct and new Avengers symbol on it!

It is said that to create a unified team into one, the co-leader Tony Stark, has decided that it is time they all have the same costumes. So far, the costumes of Captain America, Hulk and Black Widow have emerged on the internet, let us see what changes does this new movie bring in the costumes of other characters.

 

Is Captain America going to die in Avengers: The Age of Ultron?

The question circulating around the various blogs, with the release of the movie quite near, is will Marvel kill Captain America in Avengers: the Age of Ultron? The question arose because it is being rumored that Chris Evans is not quite happy with his paycheck from the Marvel studios. So, maybe they will just kill Steve Rogers and put someone else in the Captain America costume or maybe not, the question remains unanswered as both the parties remain tight lipped over the matter.

However, we can predict that there are slight chances that you will see  the Cap being killed in this movie when Captain America 3 also stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers.
